James Kidd is a journalist and writer based in London and Oxford. He has written about literary matters for The Independent on Sunday, South China Morning Post, The Observer, Time Out, Asia Literary Review, The Daily Telegraph and the Literary Review. He wrote the introduction to the 20th-anniversary edition of Patricia Cornwell’s debut novel Postmortem. His profile of Mark Billingham will be published in Billingham’s forthcoming novel, The Dying Hours. When Kidd is not podding or writing, he does some charitable work for the Keats-Shelley Memorial Association.
